Richard has been developing software for over 20 years. Graduating with a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from Southampton University, he started his career programming mobile phones at Nokia in 2000. He moved to San Francisco in 2002, where he built web applications for several Silicon Valley start-ups and non-profits. Prior to Learn Amp, he worked as Technical Director at Appaway: A massively scalable back end platform running Android & iPhone apps for restaurants. Richard has been CTO at Learn Amp since January 2016.
